IEC is the parent company of subsidiaries that do business as United Education Institute (UEI), UEI College, and U.S. Colleges, with locations in Arizona, California, Nevada, Georgia, and Washington.
IEC is also the parent company of Sage Truck Driving Schools, which provides truck driver and commercial driver's license (CDL) training in the states of Arizona, Colorado, Florida, Idaho, Indiana, Montana, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Texas, Utah, and Wyoming.

The Be the Change Scholarship is now offered annually at United Education Institute and UEI College.
