The "Be the Change" Scholarship was established in 2020 to honor UEI students who have taken initiative to improve their communities through leadership, service, and innovation. Each year, one outstanding student, selected by a volunteer committee, receives a full-tuition scholarship. The "Be the Change" Scholarship is more than a financial award. It honors our students' courage to lead, their dedication to service, and their vision for a better tomorrow. As part of the scholarship application, students submit an essay about how they strive to be an instrument of change.
