STOCKTON, CA. International Education Corporation (IEC), a leading national provider of career education and operator of UEI College, has announced the opening of its newest California campus in Stockton at 4994 Claremont Avenue. This new branch campus will serve as the 13th UEI College campus in California and will support and serve the education and workforce needs of Stockton and San Joaquin communities. "It is my distinct honor to welcome UEI College to Stockton,” says City of Stockton Mayor Ann Johnston. “UEI College’s commitment to postsecondary career education has been a model for this nation. I have no doubt that this partnership with the City of Stockton will provide our community with further access to quality learning and better jobs.”
"Timing is everything and the new campus of UEI College is another step in preparing people of all ages to embark on a successful career path. With the CDCR Prison Hospital opening in December 2013, training must start now so that Stockton and San Joaquin residents can be first in line to fill the positions,” says Douglass W. Wilhoit, Jr, Chief Executive Officer of the Greater Stockton Chamber of Commerce.
We are committed to provide high-quality career education that prepares our students to serve the needs of prospective employers," says Dr. Fardad Fateri, President and Chief Executive Officer at International Education Corporation. "We view the fast growing greater Central California metropolitan area as an important region for IEC’s planned strategic expansion.”
“Our expansion into the greater Central California area highlights our ongoing growth strategy to provide high quality education opportunities to students seeking the skills required to meet the growing needs of employers,” says Janis Paulson, Chief Operating Officer at International Education Corporation. “We look forward to growing our business in the greater Central California metropolitan area."
"The program offerings at our new Stockton campus are based on the strong demand for career education in the greater Central California area,” says Ginny White, Executive Vice President of Marketing and Admissions at International Education Corporation. “The UEI College in Stockton will enable us to reach new potential students in the area that did not have convenient access to our UEI College campus in Fresno. We are thrilled to have the opportunity to be in the City of Stockton and very much look forward to serving a greater number of students and employers in the region."
